During the 2024 Olympics, which began this weekend, Japan's Yuji Nishida paid tribute to Al-Nassr and Portugal star Ronaldo with a 'Suiii' celebration after scoring a point in volleyball. Of course, the celebration has been seen in multiple sports but it is always traced back to the ex-Real Madrid and Manchester United legend.

Ronaldo's influence is undoubtedly astonishing but he has somewhat struggled to live up to his own standards in recent months. At the European Championship, he was twice reduced to tears, first after missing a penalty, and then following Portugal's exit at the hands of France.
