Gallas told Prime Casino: "The Tottenham players, what they are thinking right now? Because now they know they are safe in the Premier League. Their position is what, 16th? It's very crazy. It's shocking. It's very disrespectful to the fans. It’s not good enough. They will stay in the Premier League, that’s what they are thinking right now. They are thinking only about that semi-final they have to play in the Europa League."

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Tottenham have never finished lower than 15th in the Premier League, recording 16 consecutive top-half finishes before this season. With that run almost certain to end, Postecoglou left Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Pedro Porro and Dejan Kulusevski out of his starting XI at Liverpool on Sunday, a game they lost 5-1.

The Europa League semi-final against Bodo-Glimt is huge for Tottenham's season, though it is widely believed that Ange Postecoglou will leave the club regardless.
