After her Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) tear last year, Williamson finally marked her return to Sarina Wiegman's squad after she had gotten the call-up in February but missed her international duty due to another injury. She did not return to the field against Sweden but did get a special gift from the team during the build-up.

The Arsenal defender received a letter of words from her international teammates, whom she thanked for their support throughout the injury and recovery phase. She also specifically thanked Barcelona's Keira Walsh for her kind words as the England captain joked that Walsh, her best friend, is 'never nice to me'.
WHAT NEXT FOR WILLIAMSON?
The 27-year-old may not have featured during the 1-1 draw against Sweden in the Euro 2025 qualifiers, however, it is possible that she will be a part of Wiegman's plans for the game against Ireland on April 9.
